In the 2023 Listed Enterprise voting season, businesses have shown many new features in applying good practices in preparing sustainable development reports. Businesses have traditionally made good reports in previous years. After a slow year, this year they have returned to their original position.
The sustainable development report voting group has made some updates to the criteria to ensure major trends are updated. These changes are mainly in adjusting the assessment method for some specific questions/criteria. The total structure/weight of the parts does not change. The main changes are shown in four aspects:
- Enhance the quality of information disclosure on greenhouse gas emissions
- The Council also appreciates businesses reporting more quantitative information to ensure the Vote is more relevant to investors.
- The Council also tightened assessments of third-party guarantees provided
- Early adoption of GRI Universal Standards (GRI Universal Standards)
