According to the assessment report on corporate governance in Vietnam within the framework of the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) 2021 project, Vietnam ranked 6th out of the 6 ASEAN countries participating in the project. Although the average total score (in percentage) has improved from 42% in 2019 to 45.4% in 2021, Vietnamese companies still have many issues to address regarding corporate governance.
